Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 31 August 2026

Incisal is a UK online CPD service for the dental team. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Incisal is operated by the sole trader trading as Incisal. This is not a limited company.

Address: 104-108 Gatcombe Rd, Bristol BS13 9RG
Email: info@incisal.co.uk
Privacy: info@incisal.co.uk

The service includes https://incisal.co.uk, https://app.incisal.co.uk and https://api.incisal.co.uk.

2. The service

Incisal provides educational CPD: courses, quizzes, certificates, CPD records, PDP and reflection tools, and (where available) practice or team views.

Course access is included in the Incisal Unlimited annual subscription (£39 per person). You can browse the library without paying; starting or continuing courses requires an active membership unless we have granted free access.

3. Who it is for

The service is for adults (18 or over) working or training in dental practice. It is not for children.

4. Your account

Keep your details accurate, including your GDC number if you add one. Keep your login private. Do not share your account or impersonate anyone. Email info@incisal.co.uk if you think your account has been misused.

5. Licence

You get a personal licence to use the courses for your own learning. You do not own the content. Do not copy, resell, scrape, republish or share it, or build a competing course from it.

6. Educational only

This is education, not clinical, legal, employment or regulatory advice, and not patient-specific advice. You remain responsible for your own professional decisions and for checking current official guidance, including the GDC and, where they apply, the CQC, HSE and NHS. Completing a course does not automatically mean you have met every CPD rule that applies to you.

7. Certificates

A certificate means you completed that Incisal course and any stated quiz. It is not GDC accreditation, approval or endorsement.

Make sure your name is correct. We may correct or withdraw a certificate issued in error, or after fraud or cheating. You are responsible for whether the CPD you claim meets your own GDC or other professional requirements.

8. Practice and team use

If a practice admin feature is used, an admin may see relevant team CPD activity such as enrolment or completion. Do not put patient names or identifiers into reflections or PDP. Your own CPD records stay with your login if you leave a practice.

9. Acceptable use

Do not cheat quizzes, fake CPD, share logins, attack the site, scrape content, or use the service unlawfully.

10. Availability

We do not promise the site will always be up. We may do maintenance and update course content when guidance changes.

11. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account for serious misuse, fraud, fake CPD, a security risk, or non-payment. We will be proportionate. You can ask us to close your account by emailing info@incisal.co.uk.

12. Your reflections and PDP

You own the text you type. We only use it to run the service for you. We will not use private reflections in marketing. Do not enter patient-identifiable or confidential third-party information.

13. Paid products

Incisal Unlimited is an annual subscription of £39 per person (VAT not charged unless we tell you otherwise). It gives one dental professional unlimited access to courses, tracking, PDP tools, and verifiable certificates for the subscription period. Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. Your membership renews each year unless you cancel before renewal. Cancel from your membership account or by emailing info@incisal.co.uk. We may suspend access for non-payment.

14. Consumer cancellation

If you buy as a consumer, you may have 14 days to cancel. If you want immediate access to paid courses, we will ask for a separate confirmation that you understand you may lose that cancellation right once digital content is supplied. Ticking these general Terms is not that confirmation. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply.

15. Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else UK law does not let us exclude. We are not your clinician and are not liable for clinical outcomes, or for patient information you choose to type into the service.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected. If you use the service for a business, we are not liable for lost profit, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if the service was free).

16. Law

English law applies. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to use your local courts.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms and will change the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms, except where the law says otherwise.
